Where we work
Housing stock differs from town to town out here, and that changes what usually goes wrong.
Our home base
Everything from the older brick homes near downtown and Fort Street to newer construction on the south and west edges of town. Older Hays homes often hide galvanized supply lines and cast-iron drains, and we plan for that rather than discovering it mid-job.
16 miles west
A regular stop out I-70. Older housing stock means we see a lot of water heater replacements, failing supply lines, and drain work that has been patched one too many times.
11 miles east
Historic German-settled town with a mix of century-old homes and newer builds. Well water is common outside the city limits, which changes what a water heater goes through.
13–18 miles out
Small Ellis County communities where the nearest licensed plumber is usually in Hays. We treat these as part of our normal radius, not an after-hours favor.
25–30 miles
Regular calls up US-183 and east on I-70. Worth calling for larger jobs — water heater replacement, sewer line work or repiping — where the drive makes sense for both of us.
About 30 miles west
Within our working radius for scheduled work. Call and we will tell you honestly whether we can get there same-day or whether it needs to be booked.
