What we find
Three things that put a sewer line on the table
Older Hays and Ellis County homes tend to have the same short list of sewer problems.
Root intrusion
Clay tile lines have joints every few feet, and tree roots find them. Roots can be cut back, but they return until the joint is fixed.
Collapse or offset
A section that has cracked, shifted or dropped. Cabling will not fix it and every clog after that is a symptom.
A belly in the line
Ground settled, a section now holds water instead of draining. Waste sits, solids build, and the line clogs on a schedule.

We are not asking you to take our word on a several-thousand-dollar repair. The footage shows the defect and where it is.
It sizes the job honestly
A single bad joint at eighteen feet is a spot repair. A line failing along its whole length is a replacement. Those are very different numbers.
It separates roots from structure
Roots at a joint can sometimes be managed. A collapsed section cannot. The camera tells you which conversation you are having.
And it locates the dig
Knowing the depth and location means the smallest possible trench, and your yard put back rather than churned up.
Repair or replace
How we make the call
This is the decision that decides the price, so we want you in it rather than told about it.
If the camera shows one defect in an otherwise sound line, a spot repair is almost always the right answer — dig at that location, replace that section, backfill. If the line is original clay tile with root intrusion at multiple joints and scale throughout, spot repairs become a subscription. At that point a full replacement, or a trenchless option where the run allows it, costs more upfront and less over the next twenty years. We will show you the footage and tell you which one we would do if it were our house.
